BIG paintings
My big paintings don’t go unnoticed.
BIG painting to me start at 4 by 5 feet and go up to 6 by 5 feet. My limitation for size defined by how far I can reach with my arm. Since my paintings are laying flat when I paint I have to reach over the canvas to bring the paint on. I’m intrigued by making bigger paintings but have to come up with a way of working that extends the present reach of my arm and pallet knife.

Most of my big paintings are full very dynamic. They bring a strong sense of live full with positive energy into a room. To me my big paintings allow me and the viewer to submerge into the art work.
